Hi, I’m Rhia, the founder of Beyond the Mall.

Beyond the Mall is a UAE-based online marketplace for personalised, meaningful gifts, created to support and celebrate local small businesses.

I started it because I love giving thoughtful gifts — the kind that feel personal and made for a specific moment. But finding small brands often meant endless scrolling, or saving beautiful businesses only to forget them when an occasion came around. More often than not, I’d end up back at the malls, gifting something… meh.

So I created the place I wished existed.

Today, it brings together incredible UAE small businesses in one easy-to-search platform, making it simple to find unique, personalised gifts for every occasion — from birthdays and weddings to new-born moments and just-because gifts.
